| When your lips are dry, it can make you feel like you're 100 years old. I used to blame the weather, bad genes, age, or anything else I could think of. But now I realize, (after experiencing life for as long as I have, and reading as much as I have) that although those excuses can be partially true, there's basically one main reason for having dry lips... not drinking enough water! Dry lips are a tell-tale sign of being de-hydrated. One glass of water won't cure the problem, it takes a good steady regimen of daily water intake.
